WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FIRST STUDENT TO ANYONE.Organizing transportation for a large group can quickly become stressful, especially when you’re in need of multiple buses. ![]() Funny that the first time they seemed to care about “good customer service,” was when we contacted a lawyer. ![]() When asked why they were refunding our money after adamantly denying they had done anything wrong for weeks, Taylor said they didn’t want us to have to wait anymore and wanted to provide “good customer service”. Within an hour of letting First Student know we were pursuing legal action, we received a call that a portion of our money would be refunded. It got to a point where we were so frustrated with First Student’s lack of professionalism, customer service, and integrity that we started a conversation with our lawyer. She specifically asked us not to have our other guests call. One of our guests that had been stranded called in to provide more information. Taylor claimed the GPS on the bus showed the bus had arrived and completed its trip to the venue on time, but refused to share a copy of the GPS data with us. We called dozens of times and were always told ‘We’re looking into it,’ ‘We need more time,’ or that everyone who could help us was conveniently in workshops or on vacation. We called 2 days after the wedding to follow-up and proceeded to get the run-around for 6 weeks from a manager, Taylor Mezger. The bride and groom were distraught that their guests had to pay out of pocket for car services because First Student dropped the ball. The shuttle ended up arriving at the hotel 10 minutes before the wedding started – guests that had waited for the shuttle were late to the wedding. None of the emergency numbers provided connected me with a live person, just going to an answering machine. Ing to Uber to the wedding so they wouldn’t miss it. They are unorganized, rude and careless when it comes to providing services for the most important day of peoples lives. I hope that everyone that is thinking about booking them sees this and runs the other way. As a consolation, they offered a discounted rate for a future service, as if we would ever book them again. Only offered an apology, even though it quite literally ruined our wedding. Kathy Henry claims she had an email for our "cancelation" but could never find it. They told us that there was a miscommunication and that they believed we had cancelled the trip. It took three days for us to come to a final answer and they could not have been more rude about resolving this issue. We contacted them the next day and were told we would receive a call back from the manager that never came. Our ceremony was delayed because no one made it on time due to the shuttle not arriving. We then had to have our family members shuttle guests back and forth because people were relying on the shuttle. We called over 50 times leaving voicemails for all the after hours numbers and never received a call back. My husband and I then had to stop what we were doing and call the emergency numbers. ![]()
